Captain Phasma
Captain Phasma has some strong abilities apart from her staff and also has a decent primary weapon with a long range on it. Phasma's primary weapon actually has 2 scopes on it where the first one has thermal vision and the second does not. The range on this is incredibly far but the thermal scope is a lot more useful than the second scope. The only time I would use the second scope is at the back of the Crait map on phase 1, galactic assault. Her weapons spread also gets more accurate the longer you fire it and also stop scoping in when you are getting shot because you can't see your health bar, which can lead you to using a lot of health without realising. Her middle ability gives her bonus health which is pretty easy to use as you should use it before going into a fight or while rolling in a fight. Her staff strike ability is powerful and knocks the enemy down but its incredibly hard to hit and has a big animation for it leaving you vulnerable to damage. I would use this on people shocked by her droid and mainly on alone heroes as troops usually come in numbers and are easier to shoot instead. her droid is probably her most useful as it can shoot as well as shock enemies near it. So put it where it can shoot enemies as well as guard your flank or shock nearby enemies. This is very powerful against lightsaber heroes as they are forced to get close to you, so if you fight near your droid when it shocks them you can get some easy headshots. Phasma's gun is also incredibly accurate when scoped in and fired a bit so its good for headshots, but in HvV and close range maps, I would play more aggressive with your droid and fight at a medium range.
